Walking in Nepal is an enticing private tour designed to explore the sublime Annapurna foothills in style. Featuring easy-to-moderate day hikes over four nights, our Walking in Nepal tour will enable you to take in astounding views of the Annapurna Himalaya and discover quaint mountain-top villages.

Walking from one village to another, your trek follows a well-trodden mountain trail and you will be accompanied by an experienced mountain guide for the duration of the trek. This scenic trail follows the course of the pristine Modi Khola River and will take you through rhododendron forests, terraced paddy fields of the Annapurna foothills, while the sacred Machhapuchhre (Fishtail Mountain) 6,900m, and the towering Annapurna 1 (8,091m) will keep you company. En route, you will also gain insight into the everyday life of the local Nepalis and learn how Gurung village was turned into an important recruitment hub for the Gurkha regiment.

Our Walking in Nepal tour is suitable for all age groups, and on average, you will walk around 4.5 to 5 hours each day. The Mountain Lodges of Nepal we have chosen for your accommodation during the trek enjoy stunning locations, offer fabulous mountain views and feature spacious ensuite rooms with comfortable beds and running hot water. Your experienced guides will also ensure you avoid trails usually followed by hikers; hence, you will unlikely come across other tourists.

The gentle nature of the trek and the relaxed pace make our Walking in Nepal tour ideal for those seeking to discover the beauty of the Himalaya without compromising their creature comforts.
