This luxury India holiday combines India’s fabled Golden Triangle with Ranthambore National Park.
It begins amongst the landscaped gardens and pools of The Oberoi New Delhi – an award-winning luxury hotel. In Delhi, you’ll discover the city’s Mughal and colonial heritage, then proceed to Agra for an overnight stay at The Oberoi Amarvilas. This opulent hotel enjoys an unrivalled location near the Taj – from which you can see the Taj Mahal from your private balcony.
Next, a train journey through rural India will bring you to Ranthambore – India’s premier tiger reserve, where your luxurious home for the next two nights is The Oberoi Vanyavilas – a world-class jungle camp. While at Ranthambore, you’ll set off on early morning and late afternoon private jeep safaris; follow the alarm calls of birds and langurs to track the tigers in their natural habitat. Concluding your Luxury India with Oberoi Hotels journey is a relaxed three-night stay at The Oberoi Rajvilas, a palatial retreat just outside Jaipur’s magical ‘Pink City’.

Alternatively, explore the Mehrauli Archaeological Park, which is scattered with remnants of medieval tombs, mosques and step-wells from the pre-Islamic, Mughal and colonial periods. Explore the ruins of Sir Thomas Metcalfe’s summer retreat that was originally the tomb of Quli Khan, Akbar’s foster brother; discover Rajon ki Baoli, an ornamental 16th-century stepwell with graceful stone carvings; and the serene Jamali Kamali mosque built of red sandstone and featuring ornamental stone windows, a fine example of Indo-Islamic architecture from the 16th century.
