Perfect during the summer holidays, this private tour is packed with incredible experiences and combines visits to the two distinct areas of Ladakh; a remote and almost mythical former Himalayan kingdom complete with Tibetan-style monasteries, atmospheric crumbling villages, high mountain peaks, luxuriant meadows, rushing rivers, and thousands of chanting monks. After a thrilling scenic flight from Delhi, you’ll have nine full days to immerse yourselves in this ancient land, where you will hike along the old Silk Road, raft down the mighty Indus River, ride a yak across the famed Wari-La Pass, cycle through the serene Nubra Valley, and attend early morning prayers in a medieval monastery.
There will also be archery contests, a journey across the dunes of Hunder on a Bactrian camel, and the chance to learn about the Spirit World from the most famous Oracle in Leh! Weather permitting, you may also glimpse the forbidding snowy peak of K2 – the second-highest mountain in the world! The Ladakh Family Holiday with Teenagers is the ultimate Himalayan adventure and a summer holiday like no other.
