Tour Overview

DELHI • AGRA • JAIPUR • GOA

Our India family holiday is a private introductory tour of the subcontinent that is far from ‘boring’! Balancing the sightseeing in Delhi, Agra and Rajasthan before you hit the beach in Goa are eye-opening experiences that include seeing sacred cows and wandering sadhus, taking a rickshaw ride through the incense-laden alleys of Old Delhi and bathing elephants.

Like the guests in the film The Real Marigold Hotel, you’ll stay in a small charming ‘haveli’ (albeit a much better run one!) in the ‘Pink City’ of Jaipur and wander through the city’s bustling and chaotic markets, witnessing local life. Travel by train on India’s iconic rail network, seeing a traditional puppet show, and tasting the delicately spiced local curries will also create more indelible Indian memories, as will the opportunity to play street cricket or learn how to tie a saree while shopping for fabrics.

The India family holiday concludes with five nights in tropical Goa, where you will enjoy a boat ride to the secluded Butterfly Beach, a picnic lunch, swimming in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean, and looking out for dolphins.
