Tour Overview
CAIRO • PYRAMIDS • ASWAN • NILE CRUISE • LUXOR • RED SEA
Our Nile Cruise and Red Sea holiday is an introductory tour that combines the best of Egypt into a single trip: pyramids, temples, and tombs; a journey on the River Nile; and an opportunity to relax by the pristine blue waters of the Red Sea.
This private Egypt holiday starts in Cairo, where you’ll see the pyramids of Giza, the enigmatic Sphinx, and the Egyptian Museum with its incredible golden treasures. Then, on flying south to Aswan, you’ll board your floating home aboard the upscale M/S Acamar or the luxury all-suite Sonesta Sun Goddess for a three-night Nile adventure. As the Nile cruise gets underway, you can relax and watch the exotic scenery of Upper Egypt glide before your eyes from the sundeck in between excursions led by your shared onboard Egyptologist to see Egypt’s incredible antiquities. From Luxor, where the highlight of your sightseeing will almost certainly be the beautifully painted tombs in the Valley of the Kings, your journey continues across Egypt’s Eastern Desert to the Red Sea coast for three nights of R&R at either the deluxe Kempinski Soma Bay or the luxurious The Oberoi Sahl Hasheesh – one of the finest hotels in Egypt.
Egypt’s Red Sea coast is a year-round destination with lovely sandy beaches and a mecca for snorkellers and scuba divers. Our hand-picked Red Sea resorts are set in beautifully landscaped grounds and have extensive facilities, including water sports, spas, and swimming pools – so you can choose to do as much or as little as you please!
