The Classic Egypt & Nile Cruise holiday begins in the Egyptian capital of Cairo, where your privately guided sightseeing will include the Pyramids of Giza, the Stepped Pyramid at Saqqara, bustling bazaars of the Khan el Khalili, and the Egyptian Museum with its golden treasures from the tomb of Tutankhamun. Then, fly south to Luxor, where you will check in at a stylish riverfront hotel for some R&R before boarding either the elite Farah cruise or the luxury all-suite Sonesta Sun Goddess and beginning a relaxing four-night Nile cruise to Aswan. Sailing through the timeless, serene scenery of Upper Egypt is an unbeatable experience. As your cruise gets underway, there will be shared excursions led by an onboard Egyptologist to the astonishing temples and tombs of the pharaohs that line the Nile between Luxor and Aswan.

Memories of glorious sunsets and the scenic palm-lined banks of the Nile will mingle with special meals on the deck and the pleasures of a refreshing cocktail at the bar. There will also be time to relax on the shaded sundeck in the warm Egyptian sun, dip in the onboard pool, chat with new friends, and enjoy the nightly entertainment. On disembarking from your Nile cruise in Aswan, you’ll visit the Temple of Isis on Philae Island, the ‘Pearl of Egypt, ‘ before checking in at your beautifully located hotel overlooking the Nile. The Classic Egypt & Nile Cruise holiday then concludes with leisure time to enjoy some of the most beautiful scenery in Egypt.
