Turtle Beach Resort

Turtle Beach Resort, Ras Al Hadd, has a picturesque location at the entrance to a lagoon and overlooks the crystal blue waters of the Gulf of Oman at the most easterly point of the Arabian Peninsula.

This property, designed in traditional Omani style, is conveniently located just a 20-minute drive from the world-famous turtle breeding grounds at Ras Al Jinz. It is an excellent base from which to go turtle viewing, swim, snorkel, relax by the sandy beach, take a dolphin-watching cruise, or enjoy the thrill of a banana boat ride! There is also a children’s playground to keep younger family members entertained.

The 54 air-conditioned rooms at the Turtle Beach Resort have been decorated with colourful Arabian cloth and have walls covered with palm fronds. Hamoor rooms all have attached bathrooms with a shower, television, tea and coffee-making facilities, mini-fridge, and a sea-facing veranda with chairs from which you can enjoy the views. In contrast, Royal Hamoor rooms are ideal for families, and in addition to the main bedroom, they have two bathrooms and a large sitting area with two sofa beds.

The Turtle Beach Resort, Ras Al Hadd, facilities include the Al Ghanga Restaurant – a large dining room with inside seating and an outside terrace overlooking the sea – where buffet-style meals featuring Arabian, Indian and Chinese cuisine dishes are available.

The resort’s Dolphin Bar serves alcohol. Guests should be aware that Wi-Fi is available at the Turtle Beach Resort’s reception but not in the rooms.
