SUJÁN Sher Bagh

Inspired by the 1920s elegant ‘Raj’ style tents, SUJÁN Sher Bagh is an intimate, colonial-style safari haven and an award-winning Relais & Châteaux listed jungle camp.

Surrounded on three sides by the Ranthambore National Park, this eco-friendly camp is conveniently located to access the wildlife reserve and has a relaxing atmosphere. SUJÁN Sher Bagh’s 12 hand-stitched canvas tents are arranged in a semi-circle around a mature garden, offering beautiful views of the rugged hills and evoking memories of life on safari during the heyday of the Raj. Each air-conditioned Luxury Tent is tastefully furnished with ‘Campaign-style’ teak and rosewood furniture and has a veranda with leather camping chairs to relax. The larger’ Luxury Pukka Sahib Suite’ and ‘Royal Burra Sahib Suite’ are luxuriously furnished. The former has an outdoor Jacuzzi within its walled garden; the latter comes with a small heated outdoor pool overlooking the surrounding wilderness.

The camp has a dining tent where enticing Indian and Continental cuisine is served. The food at SUJÁN Sher Bagh is exceptional, and with advance notice, discreet private romantic dinners under the stars can be arranged. The hospitable staff will prepare a picnic basket to take out on game drives, and there is a campfire in the evenings for guests to share their wildlife experiences. Leisure facilities at SUJÁN Sher Bagh include an outdoor pool, bar and a spa offering relaxing aromatherapy massages.
