Seti River Camp

The Seti River Camp is a safari-style camp set amongst undulating hills on the banks of the Seti River. It is an excellent base to experience the thrill of white-water rafting or set off on a trek through the surrounding wilderness.

The permanent camp offers accommodation in 16 tents sitting on raised concrete platforms. The modestly furnished tents are dotted around the verdant gardens and feature twin beds with bedside lamps, an ensuite bathroom with a flushing loo, and a shower with hot running water.

While a roof connects the sleeping and bathing tents – guests must be aware that they must step out of one into the other. Please note that Seti River Camp is located in a remote area without access to electricity.

As an alternative, kerosene lamps, torches, and candles are provided. Freshly prepared Continental and local Nepali cuisine are served in the main dining area, while pre-dinner drinks are served around a campfire by the beach around sunset.

Throughout your stay, you will be looked after by the friendly Ker and Downey staff, and whilst the facilities are limited, they will do everything to ensure you have a memorable time.

Activities include rafting along the Seti River, arranged by experienced guides who ensure the excursion is suitable for all ages, and walks and treks to nearby villages. The Seti River Camp is only accessible by boat and is ideally located as a stopover between Chitwan and Pokhara.
