Saraya Rum Private Luxury Camp

Saraya Rum Luxury Camp is an oasis combining luxury with warm traditional Bedouin hospitality and is an excellent choice for those seeking a high-end desert experience.

With the majestic Jebel Um Ishrin mountains providing a mesmerising backdrop, the Saraya Rum Luxury Camp enjoys a sublime, secluded setting amidst the spectacular endless desert of Wadi Rum. Accommodation is in 30 spacious (49 sqm), individually decorated, air-conditioned Bedouin-style tents that are tastefully furnished using locally sourced fabrics and rugs.

All tents feature a comfortable king-size or twin bed, a bedside table with lamps, a small table with two comfy armchairs and a modern ensuite bathroom (shower only) with running hot and cold water.

Each tent also features a large private terrace offering panoramic views of the vast empty desert and the surrounding mountains. At Saraya Rum Luxury Camp, delicious local Jordanian food and international cuisine are served in the large ‘majlis tent’, a communal space just a short walk away from your tent.

Though the camp doesn’t serve alcoholic beverages, guests are encouraged to bring their own. Saraya Rum Luxury Camp offers an array of activities, including camel riding, 4×4 excursions, hiking, jeep adventures, and star-gazing experiences.

The main source of power is solar, while the lanterns and candles illuminating the pathways that connect the majlis tent with guest tents contribute to the enchanting ambiance.
