Private houseboat designed to discover the mighty Brahmaputra River in style

MV Rudra Singha is an elegant, private houseboat built to discover the mighty Brahmaputra River in style. Inspired by traditional Assamese Pansoinaus (flat-bottomed wooden houseboats), this light and airy houseboat is designed to navigate some of the narrow, shallowest of channels and waterways and offer guests the opportunity to explore many small, tribal villages that otherwise remain inaccessible. MV Rudra Singha features a spacious air-conditioned bedroom with an ensuite bathroom tastefully decorated using locally sourced fabrics and furnishings, a lounge offering panoramic views of the river, and an upper deck from which you can enjoy uninterrupted views of rural Assamese villages as the boat glides through the Brahmaputra River.

Meals are taken in the dining area on the lower deck, and the vessel has a crew of four, including a captain, sailor, chef and manager who will act as your guide throughout the journey. At night, the boat is tethered near the shore and during the day, there is usually an opportunity to hop off and explore rural villages and little-known temples or stroll around the sandbanks. MV Rudra Singha offers one, two, three and seven-night cruises and operates between October and May.
