Rann Riders

Rann Riders is a simple, charming, eco-friendly resort that draws inspiration from the local community’s traditional ‘Kooba Houses’. Imaginatively designed using local materials, the Rann Riders offers guests the chance to experience the simple yet harmonious lifestyle of the local tribal community without compromising on essential creature comforts.

Dotted amongst 32 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, the spacious, ethnic-style, air-conditioned cottages with palm-thatched roofs, terracotta floor tiles, and an ensuite bathroom (shower only) are tastefully furnished using locally sourced materials. The cottages, which imitate the traditional homesteads of the Bajania community of Dasada and the Bhunga houses of the Rabaris of Kutch, are decorated using mud-plaster work, fine fabrics and mirror-work.

At Rann Riders, meals are served in the main dining room, which offers a selection of Indian, Chinese, Continental and local Gujarati cuisine. Leisure facilities at this resort include an outdoor pool, and there are many hammocks where guests can relax and do nothing or read a book between their early morning and late afternoon safaris.

Rann Riders enjoy a convenient location with easy access to the Little Rann of Kutch Wildlife Sanctuary, and activities on offer include jeep and horseback safaris and guided walks through the nearby Bajania village.
