The Postcard Cuelim

The Postcard Cuelim is a character-rich, 350-year-old mansion that has been superbly brought up-to-date and converted into one of Goa’s finest heritage hotels. This stylish, up-scale hotel was once the private residence of T B Cunha, the father of Goan Liberation and is a fine example of classic Portuguese-Goan architecture.

The Postcard Cuelim’s elegant interior features antique-filled high-ceilinged rooms, tall French windows and artwork. A beautiful arched entrance and a sweeping wooden staircase further add to the refined ambience. Accommodation is eight spacious, individually decorated rooms and suites designed to remind you of the colonial era with a modern touch. All rooms are light and airy and tastefully furnished using period-style furniture. While the ground floor rooms have a patio, the suites on the upper level feature a private outdoor space and overlook the lush gardens and the paddy fields nearby.

At the Postcard Cuelim, delectable Goan and continental food is prepared using the freshest ingredients and served at the communal dining table or in the gardens at a convenient time. Other facilities include an outdoor pool, a badminton court, a ballroom with a piano, an indoor games room with a pool table, and a television with a DVD player.
