Chic heritage hotel in the heart of Fort Cochin

Set in the heart of Fort Cochin, Old Harbour Hotel is a chic heritage hotel and was previously home to the staff of an English tea-broking firm. The small, stylish hotel showcases stunning Dutch-style colonial architecture with Portuguese influences and has been beautifully restored with contemporary Indian art to fuse local flavour with old-world charm.

The hotel’s 13 rooms and suites are spacious with high ceilings, tastefully decorated with period furniture, and overlook the courtyard or the famed Chinese fishing nets. The Garden Cottages feature open-to-the-sky showers and a private pond. The elegantly appointed suites feature four-poster beds, and while the Bastion Suite has a swing chair, the Princess Suite features a private balcony.

The hotel’s restaurant serves Indian as well as International cuisine using freshly sourced produce, and for those who love their seafood – there is a special seafood menu with a barbecue every evening in the garden. Other facilities at this hotel include a bar licenced to sell beers, wine and spirits and an infinity pool to relax and enjoy the warmth of
the winter sun.
