Conveniently-located boutique hotel

Set in a 19th-century Georgian Cultural Heritage listed building, Newport Hotel Kutaisi is a 4-star boutique property with a convenient location in the heart of the city and easy access to the Colchis Fountain and the historic Bagrati Cathedral.

Originally built in 1860 as a Courthouse, it was superbly transformed into a delightful hotel in 2021 and is undoubtedly the finest hotel in Kutaisi. While the hotel’s façade has been restored to its former glory and retains many original features, the interiors sport a contemporary look.

All 36 air-conditioned rooms at Newport Hotel are tastefully furnished and feature a flat-screen TV, minibar, tea and coffee maker, a spacious wardrobe and a modern bathroom with either a rain shower or a bathtub. Some rooms also come with a balcony offering fine views of the city.

We recommend the Superior King Suite at Newport Hotel Kutaisi as the Standard Rooms are relatively small at 18 square metres. The Superior King Suites are approximately 38 sqm and feature a balcony, a separate sitting area and a modern bathroom equipped with a shower and bathtub.

At Newport Hotel Kutaisi, delicious Georgian and international cuisine is served at their main restaurant (Café Newport), while pre-dinner drinks and cocktails can be had at the stylish Blue Bar.

While this hotel has limited facilities, its welcoming atmosphere, as well as personalised service, more than makes up for its lack of leisure facilities.
