Excellent value Colonial-era hotel

The Maidens is an elegant, colonial-style hotel built to host distinguished guests attending the 1903 Durbar and is one of Delhi’s oldest hotels. Offering superb value, this graceful hotel, with its grand façade and high ceilings, has retained its old-world allure and is set amongst eight acres of lush tropical gardens.

At The Maidens, all 55 rooms and suites are tastefully furnished in classic colonial style, but it must be noted that only a small number of rooms and suites feature windows that open out onto the gardens.

Dining at The Maidens is a treat as the two restaurants are designed to showcase the essence of the colonial era. The Garden Terrace offers indoor as well as al-fresco dining and serves cuisines from around the world, while The Curzon Room, adorned with archive photographs of the Raj in India, is renowned for the finest of Indian delicacies made popular during the British Raj. For pre-dinner drinks, head to the Cavalry Bar, which serves imaginative cocktails and a selection of premium beverages. Other facilities at The Maidens include an outdoor pool, tennis court and fitness centre.
