Luxury tented camp with the option for simple mobile camping
With a serene riverside location, 15 minutes from the entrance to Yala National Park, Kulu Safaris offers luxury tents in a permanent camp as well as an option for simple mobile camping.
The permanent camp’s five spacious luxury tents are custom-made in Africa and set at a considerable distance from each other, giving guests complete privacy. Each luxury tent is set on a raised platform and tastefully furnished with twin or double beds, a luggage rack, and a dressing table with a mirror.
The attached bathroom is equipped with a shower, washbasin and WC. The tents open onto a private veranda furnished with comfortable camp chairs. Kulu Safaris has a spacious dining tent and serves imaginative Sri Lankan cuisine prepared using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
Subject to weather conditions, all three meals are usually served outdoors under shady trees. Your stay at Kulu Safaris includes two private jeep safaris per day that are accompanied by an experienced naturalist. Meals are on a full board basis with soft drinks, bottled water, local beers and spirits included with lunch and dinner.
