Surrounded by the buffer zone of Kanha National Park, Kanha Earth Lodge is an eco-friendly wildlife lodge set amongst 16 acres of pristine wilderness and designed to blend with the natural forest setting. Influenced by the rustic style décor of the Gond tribal villages nearby, this wildlife lodge has been built using local stone and baked terracotta tiles and tastefully furnished using plenty of recycled waste wood and tribal artefacts.
Accommodation comprises 12 air-conditioned cottages featuring a spacious bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and a dressing room. While the cottages are decorated in rustic style, they feature all essential modern comforts and open out onto a large private veranda that offers spectacular views of the surrounding wilderness. At Kanha Earth Lodge, delicious Indian and Continental cuisine is served in the dining hall set within the central lounge, and candlelit private dinners to celebrate special occasions can be arranged upon request.
Other facilities at Kanha Earth Lodge include an outdoor pool and library with a good selection of books on natural history.
