Hampi’s Boulders Resort

Tucked away on the banks of the Tungabadra River, Hampi’s Boulders is a modest hotel with a unique character. The hotel enjoys a surreal setting in a grand landscape strewn with boulders and dotted with seasonal natural rock pools. Hampi’s Boulders offers 13 simply furnished and individually designed earthy cottages with private facilities. The cottages are thoughtfully designed using the region’s landscape to stellar effect and either overlook the river, the boulder-strewn landscape, or the wilderness. While some cottages are air-conditioned, others are cooled by electric fans.

Hampi’s Boulders restaurant serves delicious regional home-cooked style meals prepared using fresh produce sourced from the resort’s farm or procured locally, and a licensed bar serves beer and Indian wines. Hampi’s Boulders also has a barbecue area where vegetables, meats and seafood can be grilled according to your preference and served around a bonfire under the stars. Leisure facilities at the hotel include an indoor games room with a pool table and table tennis and a natural rock pool where guests can swim and relax. Activities at the Hampi’s Boulders include nature walks and bird watching (between November and February).
