While the Superior Rooms feature a Juliet Balcony, the Classic Rooms offer a private balcony and panoramic views of the distant hills. At Grand Mercure Petra, all three meals are served at Al Madafa. This multi-cuisine restaurant serves Jordanian specialties as well as international cuisine.
For pre-dinner drinks, guests should head to the redesigned Al Nadeem’s bar and terrace, which overlooks Jebel Aroun – the area’s highest peak and offers striking views at sunset. Other facilities at Grand Mercure Petra include an indoor heated lap pool and a well-equipped gym.
Guests should be aware that Grand Mercure Petra is about 15 minutes by car from the Petra Visitors Centre.
