A picturesque harbour setting

The Byblos Sur Mer Hotel is a boutique property located on the picturesque harbour of the ancient town of Byblos, with views of the Crusader castle and the Mediterranean Sea.

Byblos, also known as Jbeil in Arabic, is a picturesque town 35 km north of Beirut. It is well-known for its charming cobbled medieval souqs, delicious seafood restaurants, outdoor bars, and nearby sandy beaches. The town’s proximity to many of northern Lebanon’s attractions makes it a viable alternative to the Lebanese capital as a base for exploring the region.

Accommodation is offered in 30 elegantly decorated ensuite rooms and suites, all offering sea views, with some featuring a balcony. Dining facilities at the Byblos Sur Mer include a choice of (seasonal) restaurants, with the L’Odyssee, which serves fine Mediterranean cuisine, featuring a stunning glass floor through which you can see the ruins of a Byzantine site and the Cave de Bacchus wine bar.

There is an outdoor (seasonal) swimming pool, a small gym, and the Sophia Bay Beach Club, which operates during summer. At night, the hotel’s roof terrace allows guests to enjoy superb views of the sparkling lights which line the Lebanese coast while enjoying a drink from the bar.
