Bumthang Mountain Lodge is situated on the edge of town across the road from the local archery field and within five minutes’ walk from the 19th century Wangdichholing Palace.
This comfortable and quiet property has attractive external Bhutanese motifs and offers accommodation in two wings.
The Original Wing has 14 smaller-sized Standard rooms, while the New Wing has 24 Deluxe rooms and interiors combining pine and exposed stonework, giving it a modern mountain lodge-style feel.
All accommodation has an attached ensuite bathroom equipped with a shower and complimentary Wi-Fi internet access.
It should be noted that rooms do not have televisions. Facilities at Bumthang Mountain Lodge include a restaurant serving buffet meals, a bar, lobby lounge and a pleasant outside sitting area.
