Banjaar Tola - A Taj Safari Lodge

Spread over 60 acres of enchanting wilderness, the stylish, secluded, up-market Banjaar Tola wildlife lodge enjoys a picturesque setting along the banks of the serene Banjaar River that separates the lodge from the verdant meadows of Kanha National Park.
The lodge comprises two camps, each with nine tented suites that share facilities such as a dining lounge, pool and spa. Tucked away amongst the tall sal trees, each of the 18 tented suites is light, airy, spacious and set on raised platforms with wide glass doors that open onto a private deck to provide guests with a spectacular view of the river. The luxurious tents are elegantly decorated in a contemporary style with bamboo wall panels, insulated bamboo floors and furniture crafted from wood sourced locally. At the same time, the rich block-printed upholstery, metal sculptures and artwork created by the local Bastar tribes complement the minimalist décor.

The lodge has a central lounge, inviting guests to join the resident manager for pre-dinner drinks. Sumptuous international cuisine is served in the dining room next to the lounge. If you are celebrating a special occasion or want to treat your travelling partner, we recommend a private magical jungle dinner under a star-lit sky. Facilities at Banjaar Tola include an outdoor pool, an in-room spa and a library. At Banjaar Tola, morning and afternoon jeep safari drives are led by expert naturalists and between safaris – they will also take you on guided nature walks to spot exotic birds and share their knowledge about the jungle.
