Built using natural materials, the detached bungalows are tastefully appointed with handcrafted locally-made furniture and stand out because of their Four Poster beds and magnificent sea views. All are fully air-conditioned and equipped with complimentary Wi-Fi and tea/coffee-making facilities. The spacious ensuite bathrooms have a marble tiled walk-in shower and a private balcony from where you can enjoy the unobstructed sea views by day or the stars at night.

Second, only to the view at the Avalon Hotel, is its stunning outdoor infinity-edge swimming pool. The property also has a well-stocked bar and a restaurant serving authentic Turkish village-style food and a variety of European dishes. Massages can be arranged with advance notice.

Guests at the Avlon Hotel can be as busy or relaxed as they choose. The property sits directly on the Lycian Way – one of the world’s most stunning hiking trails. The local beauty spots of Butterfly Valley and Olu Deniz are respectively 2km and 15km by road, and while it requires a bit of a hike to reach, Kabak beach is only twenty minutes away on foot. Snorkelling, sea-kayaking, para-gliding and boat excursions can be arranged on request. Alternatively, relax by the pool, listen to the sound of crickets, drink in the magnificent scenery, and do absolutely nothing!
