Ahilya Fort

Another highlight is a sunset boat trip on the Narmada River. Accommodation at Ahilya Fort is in 13 individually designed rooms and suites divided across seven buildings. No two rooms are the same size, and whilst some are compact, they all are stylishly furnished with handmade furniture, feature ensuite bathrooms (shower only) and overlook either the gardens or the river. Whilst some rooms are air-conditioned, others have air coolers. Hot water bottles are supplied during winter months. One of the more recent additions at Ahilya Fort is the Royal Tent, which has a private garden, a plunge pool, and glorious views of the river and the surrounding temples.
