Dar Tozeur

Hidden behind the traditional brick walls of Tozeur’s medina, Dar Tozeur is a surprisingly spacious riad-style boutique guesthouse. Featuring a rooftop terrace with far-reaching views across the city, Dar Tozeur has ample space to relax – either in one of the shady courtyards, cosy hotel corners or by one of the two swimming pools.

Dar Tozeur imparts a relaxed and informal atmosphere with a design combining contemporary style and traditional decor. The location is ideal for exploring Tozeur’s ancient medina, verdant palmeraie and mountain oasis villages beyond. The seven bedrooms are spread throughout the property and are unique from one another in design; some are decorated in deep aubergine tones with a style evoking tales of Arabian nights, whilst others are furnished in more muted tones.

There is a traditional hammam and a small gym and massages are available. The rooms don’t have televisions, but guests can watch TV and movies in a cosy cinema room. Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.

A continental self-service breakfast is served in the bright morning room, whilst lunch and dinner, featuring traditional Tunisian cuisine, are available in the dining room. (Note that lunch and dinner should be requested in advance).
